Video about working with Jazz
The Alice Green Project was founded by Jasmin Slattery, a Developmental Educator and Mentor for women and girls.

1:1 Mentoring
Jasmin Slattery is a Developmental Educator and holds a Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education from Flinders University.
Jasmin has also completed accredited certificates IV in Youth Work and Training and Assessment (TAE) and has worked for more than 10 years supporting children, youth and adults in both government and non-government sectors.
Jasmin’s professional experience commenced with supporting young people within the Youth Justice sector under the Department of Communities and Social Inclusion. Her role as Person Centred Facilitator at Disability Services ensured support staff provided person centred active supports to all individuals living within accommodation and respite services.
Jasmin’s Credentials
More recently Jasmin has worked for both the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as a Plan Support Coordinator and has spent the last four years working for the Department of Child Protection (DCP). Jasmin’s roles in the Department of Child Protection have included:
Child and Youth Worker
Senior Youth Practitioner in the Intensive Placement Support Team
Senior Clinician within the Specialist Services Team, Disability and Development Program
Jasmin’s passion is fostered from working with girls and women from all walks of life, to help EQUIP and EMPOWER them with the tools necessary to lead self-directed and fulfilling lives.
Group Workshops
It is so important to know and trust the person behind the ‘formal’ credentials, so here are some fun facts about me:
I have the BIGGEST laugh you’ll most likely ever hear
I call people out on their BS, drop truth bombs and challenge people to stretch their perspectives
I am SUPER PASSIONATE about ALL girls and women having access to sexual education that makes sense to them.
I am a space holder for the journey of intimacy with ourselves and others
I am cheeky, honest and unapologetically myself
I LOVE nature and all things natural, especially a refreshing walk along the beach
I value expression, curiosity, connection and community
I have a love/hate relationship with growth. It’s essential and also bloody scary
I am strong and determined to create change
I know my purpose is to contribute to the lives of others by sharing my gifts and talents of connection and authenticity, whilst supporting girls and women to find theirs.
And I can’t wait to meet you!

So what is a Developmental Educator?
A Developmental Educator is a multi-disciplinary disability specialist with expertise in fostering the skills, independence and quality of life of individuals with developmental and/or acquired disabilities.
As an allied health professional, a Developmental Educator (also referred to as a DE) has a practical approach and works holistically across the life span to address issues which may affect the function, independence and social inclusion of individuals with disability, their families and carers. What I’ve learned about Worthiness from Alice
Alice Green was the most authentic human I’ve ever crossed paths with. Alice ALWAYS asked for what she wanted. Regardless how big or small it was. Alice always believed she was deserving of what she asked for!
There was a depth of worthiness within her that I’d never witnessed before, nor did I truly understand myself.
Now as the years have passed and the layers are slowly being peeled away, I am beginning to understand that worthiness is NOT something you earn. It is NOT something that is given to you externally.
It doesn’t come from your relationships, job status, how much you earn, your life experiences, what you have and don’t have.
It is born innately inside every one of us and lives in the home of love.
It comes from a such a deep place of acceptance that we are deserving of ALL of the things in life, big and small!
My passion and vision to support girls and young women is to realise this NOW, TODAY, THIS VERY SECOND.
You are worthy because you are alive!
There is only one you.
One incredible, beautiful, bold, creative, talented individual who truly matters.
